We will depart from WPC, Saturday November 7th, at 6am.
We will hike out Saturday morning and return approximately 2pm on Sunday, November 8th.

Hikes will be 3.8 miles on Saturday and 1.7 on Sunday. Scouts will be hiking from Fishers Gap Overlook, in Shenandoah National Park. Scouts will visit the Great Meadow and will be camping near Rose River.

A big congratulations to Sophie Meisner who is one of the top 5k harriers (cross-country runner) from Alexandria. She competed in North Carolina in Great American XC Festival, which includes some of the best teams from the east coast.

Save the date: Sunday, November 1st from 4-6pm. All troop 130 leaders and scouts are invited to Charlotte's Court of Honor. It will be located at The Shed, the private covered area at The Garden, 1503 Mt.

Scouting for Food is coming up and I encourage all the scouts to participate. This years drive will be benefiting ALIVE. Thursday October 8th is the date to pick up door hangers, and scouting for food yard signs are available for pick up too.
